Networking
We are the led organisation for East of England Social Enterprises {faith based network}We bring together partnerships that will forward the individual aspirations of the member organisations. The networking group open up access into the community, using the unique outreach available to faith based groups. The result is that each social enterprise has added value to what they are doing. I.e. a group doing youth work will be able to tap into access to a larger number of youth through the network group members.
We also intend to source for funds as a group to enable us affect common goals with diverse contributions of all group members.
A bit of history on the network {Excerpt from Social Enterprise East of England Magazine; March edition]
“The group was Started by Titi Oluwadare of Gem Ventures. On entering Social enterprise , she saw a vacuum in the faith based sector and she felt with challenges peculiar to the faith based sector of social enterprises , they needed to come together to sort themselves out together.
In addition It was realised that faith groups have possibly more contact with the community than most social enterprises. It is therefore possible to engage this unique privilege to effect social change and development.”
