" Rather than seeking to have our needs met, lets look for ways that we can minister to the needs of others. Service is the way to greatness "

Sub contractors ;We also have Subcontractors who come in to teach specific areas like e – business and internet and communications skills. PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANTS We outsource skills we don’t have in house In every area we work in we have several consultants that we work with. we outsource to professionals; this allows us to access skills that are not readily available in our organisation. This works to better enrich our clients STRENGTHS AND OPPORTUNITIES Our strengths include our 1.Expertise, experience, ability, and the personal characteristics we bring Like enthusiasm, determination, dedication to work and passion for the projects . Our Clients are mainly Low income families, Single parents, teenage parents and people with court orders that come to either our parenting course or our youth programs, through court referrals. With these mix of people, our projects have been able to be great tool s of engagement in the community. Our programs have also helped to emphasis mutual understanding and respect. People from different backgrounds, discuss their challenges.
2.Also, the personal service that we can give helps our clients. Moreover because we are small we are able to give more value for money .Our vision cannot be overemphasised, we are fresh and we have a unique approach to make a difference. We also have an on hand approach which can easily allow us to make a difference. The above facts ensure that we are versatile and can quickly respond to policy changes making us a flexible organisation.
3. Our competitors are not as easily accessible to clients ,given our town c entre location and the fact that we are neighbours to job centre plus and other government support facilities in Luton, are a walking distance from our office .In addition we offer an approach which we see has been absent in social enterprises in the east of England. Our projects has one of the most open and accessible facilities in Luton for community work as our location is centralised in Luton town centre, this overcomes the barrier of accessibility .
4.Many SE Lack a Holistic approach to family and societal issues. Given the fact that our organisation addresses various ends of problem economic problems and how it is linked with lack of community integration we , give an holistic approach to ameliorate , the major societal challenges and breakdown in Luton .
5.Moreover because we operate from our own facilities, we give a sense of stability that many organisations who rent community centres on ad-hoc basis do not give. The people we work with need a sense of stability and a place of belonging to families .
6.In addition we have highly skilled and experienced professionals working on all our projects, they are also BME . Therefore they are able to cope with the low income , ethnic minorities population in Luton who we can identify with and empathise with .
7.We are an organisation led by a BME woman. The East of England supports women in this category to start businesses especially in the Luton area. So the support for the business is strong, given our location. The strength in also being a woman lead organisation, is that we are able to use , not the usual skills that men use with our clients., rather we use persuasion ,and empathy . Given the fact that more than half of our participants are women this helps to overcome the barrier of gender. Moreover it has been discovered that the youth respond more to this approach of empathy.
8.Our passion in what we do and its impact on the community is our driving force. Many lack the passion we have to make and effect a change. Our faith based approach makes us passionate in serving others to make a profound difference in their lives. We are all passionate about economic disadvantages and poverty problems amongst minorities and we will like to make a difference by teaching them, the principles of wealth creation
9.Finally many lack the skills and tools we have . they lack our professional competence and experiences , which add value to our clients and make Our organisation the success that it is. Most of our clients spread by word of mouth , the life changing experiences they have had in our projects . Often they recommend family and friends for patronage . In the shrinking economy due to recession , public and government structures shrink and most of the work is outsourced to social enterprises. We believe this is the best time for social enterprises like us to thrive as we can do the work with less overhead and often times more effectively.
